First United Methodist Church Fine Arts Academy

Interns will assist the Director of the Academy with the following tasks:

Publicity and Marketing – particularly improving our web presence and developing new avenues for public awareness

Pedagogy – working with Academy staff/teachers to realize common pedagogical goals and developing a framework from which to create teaching materials

Organization – working with Director to improve management of day-to-day operations and future planning

Fundraising and Program Development – create innovative ways to raise capital for the

development of new programs (dance, visual art, theatre, music therapy, performing ensembles, theory & appreciation classes) and assist in implementation of one of these programs.
